Special Issue: New Trends of Blockchain Technology in Construction Management

Blockchain technology (BCT) is becoming an essential aspect of the advancement of science. When the term 'blockchain' is spoken, terms such as decentralization and a single, open digital market spring to mind; on this decentralized digital network, global citizens may build new relationships without interference from a centralized authority. Different approaches have been used thus far to tackle complex issues. This technology makes applications in banking, smart contacts, e-commerce, ehealth, data storage, supply chain management, and the Internet of Things possible. For this reason, it seems sensible to think about blockchain as a generic technological concept. This technology category is described as those that can significantly alter social, economic, and construction systems in present-day society.
