Environmental Research and Planetary Health will not accept manuscripts that are plagiarized in any circumstances. The journal will verify the originality of the submitted manuscripts with Turnitin, the plagiarism detection software. Editorial board has passed the following actions:
1. Similarity Index (>25%): Article Rejected. If a manuscript uses a text copied directly from another source, this text must be written in quotation marks and original source must be cited. If any kind of plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be rejected.
2. Similarity index Less than <25%: Accepted or citation improvement may be required (proper citations must be provided to all outsourced texts).
