Applied Innovation for Community Development is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to present the outcome of applied knowledge, science, and technology on the dynamic community and society development. The journal publishes original research, critical reviews, and case studies that explore how applied science, technology and innovation provide impact for cultural practices, social structures, and economic stability. This journal focuses on community service programs and activities that apply innovation, scientific and technological advancements for meaningful impacts on sustainable community development.

Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of Technology and Innovation. Development, implementation, and transfer of appropriate technologies, digital literacy programs, and applied innovation that address community needs.
  • Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment. Entrepreneurship incubation, Small Medium Enterprise (SME) development, marketing strategies, financial literacy training, and cooperative models that foster economic independence and wellbeing sustainability in communities.
  • Community-based Applied Research and Innovation. Participatory action research, needs assessment, impact evaluation, case studies, and service-learning models that generate evidence-based insights for improving community development practices.
  • Institutional Engagement and Partnerships. University-community-industry collaboration models and multi-stakeholder approaches that strengthen regional development and community empowerment.
  • Social Innovation and Change: Studies on how cultural and social factors drive innovation, social entrepreneurship, and inclusive development.
  • Global and Comparative Perspectives: Cross-cultural studies and comparative analyses of community development practices in different regions, with an emphasis on emerging or developing contexts.

The journal encourages submissions that integrate theoretical, empirical, and practical perspectives, offering insights relevant to scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders engaged in fostering culturally informed development.
